This centre is divided into 4 units with its scope of work
and responsibilities as follows:-
Material Research & Curriculum Development Unit
- Supervise & implement research and development works aiming to
improvise lecture notes, teaching techniques for all centres;
- Study and endorse all syllabuses and course programs;
- Identify current and future training needs in line with the
organisational and governmental policy;
- Managing the library facilities;
- Preparation of seminar reports.
Performance Evaluation & Examination Unit
- To prepare and implement research & development to improvise
and update lecture notes, teaching and training techniques to all
centres;
- Prepare records for courses and participants as well as results of
analysis and examination;
- Responsible to prepare case study reports for all centres with
highlights on current and future problems identified in line with
the organisational and governmental policy;
- To study all examination papers prepared by all centres, to
prepare examination questions and to advocate proposals to the
commandant accordingly;
- Responsibility to review all case studies prepared by course
participants and to suggest necessary changes for purpose of
implementation at federal, state, formation and district levels.
Information Technology Unit
- To carry out user training on Information Technology to course
participants;
- To study Information Technology training needs from time to time;
- Responsibility on all hardware and software used;
- Develop applications needed for usage of the college.
Technical Support Unit
- To render technical support to all training activities;
- To prepare rules and regulations for usage of technical support
equipments;
- Identify technical support needs from time to time.
